Thank you for everything, Hiru
Hiru Food & Drinks was born at Carretera d'Artà 40 in Alcúdia with a simple idea: fire, great produce and good people. The name — "three" in Basque — summed up its three pillars: top-quality produce, charcoal grilling as a technique and an atmosphere where good food and good times went hand in hand. It was part of the Grupo Enjoy family until its very last service, in August 2026.
What made Hiru special
The grill and dry-aged meats
Its great speciality was dry-aged meat: chuletón, tomahawk, skirt steak and ribs, selected cuts matured for weeks and finished over natural wood embers. That concentrated, slow-fire flavour was the house signature.
Rice dishes and seafood paella
The seafood paella, made with homemade stock and fresh produce from Alcúdia's fish market, was one of the most requested dishes for years, alongside the lobster rice stew and the black rice with baby squid. Every rice dish was cooked to order, and that wait was part of the ritual.
The terrace and long after-dinner hours
And then there was the terrace: family lunches, open-air summer dinners, signature cocktails and after-dinner conversations that stretched into the early hours. More than a restaurant, Hiru was a meeting point in northern Mallorca.
The space takes a rest: something new is cooking
We're not calling it goodbye. The fire goes out, but the embers stay warm: the premises at Ctra. d'Artà 40 are taking a break while Grupo Enjoy dreams up the next project for this corner of Alcúdia. Nothing is confirmed yet; when it is, we'll share it on this website and on the Hiru farewell page.
The Grupo Enjoy experience continues
Even with Hiru closed, the Port d'Alcúdia plan is very much alive: signature cocktails and shisha at sunset at Enjoy Terrace and partying into the early hours at Outxide Club, both at Av. Tucán 1.
